Record Stores

I'm comming to London from Calgary in December. I was wondering if anyone can suggest some good record stores to get trance at. Record stores in Canada are virtually non existant.

Thanks.

Not for me to say but check out HMV in london. They sell loads of records in Manchester so they should sell more in London store as its bigger. They sell most trance releases, but if your looking for rare stuff then the boys from london will help you with finding other shops

I was there last year and to be honest I didn't think HMV was all that good, all they really had was general-release stuff and the occasional import, the HMVs in Glasgow or most other cities I've been to are better, surprisingly... ye I know there's a few HMV's in London, I'm talking about the Oxford Street and Covent Garden ones. There was a decent shop in Covent Garden (can't remember the street) called Mad Records, thats all I can remember

Mad Records (trance from uplifting to tech to UK hard house-ish)
2 Silver Place (moved from covent garden, a lil' hard to find now)
Soho, London W1F 0JP

XSF Records (tech stuff to hard house stuff)
38 Berwick St.
London W1V 3RE

Plastic Fantastic (housey to proggy stuff)
35 Drury Lane
London WC2B 5RH

my three must-visits whenever I go to London. damage from my visit in late October? 20 some records in a 2 day spree.

Also at Trocadero Square near Piccadily Circus there is an HMV, Virgin Megastore, Tower Records all within eyesight. sometimes there's decent chart stuff to be picked up for cheap.
