Best Mixer ?

what's your oppinion ?

Posted by Zack Roth on Nov-16-2003 01:46:

I'm sure there are much better mixers out there, but I love my Denon. I can't wait for their new mixer to come out. Looks sick.

Pioneer is my choice, always loved working with it and still loving it.
very comfortable and easy to use, also, it has a very smooth sound.

fav Pioneer mixer:

DJM-600

Posted by Biondo on Nov-16-2003 01:51:

worked with:
Gemini
Numark
Pioneer
Vestax
Denon
Technics
Peavey u.s.a
Soundcraft

as for me id go with the soundcraft. best expirience i had so far.

My choise is Vestax, My Faivorate one is PMC-55 !!!

You won't understand it untill you try it...
here's a quick review...

Posted by Ibiza Dreams on Nov-16-2003 05:19:

I'd recommend naming this thread... what's the mixer brand you OWN.... or which brand of mixer would be the one you'd buy right now if you had the money...

I think there are too many peeps that can't really say which is the best brand... I have a Behringer DJX700... but I haven't used any other brands except a Xone 32... so I have a hard time saying which is the best mixer.

Posted by Ariels on Nov-16-2003 06:14:

Good point, anyway, Don't forget!
Before you buy a mixer you check them in the store to see
wich one fits for ya... so I guess those who vote know what
they're talking about.

See I think allen & heat has the best sound but the buttons are to small. pioneer is designed best for you to mix on but the sound is not so good...

Vestax designed great and provides great sound but you don't have effects or BPM counter, but realy... I don't give a damn !

There are many mixers in the list that I think My shit smells better than them but I gave them all as an option to bring you the best poll that show you the real score and not part of it...

The Soundcraft isnt for DJing, it is for production.

Who needs a 32 channels mixer for DJing?

Anyway, tough choice between Rane and Vestax, Mackie's are phenomenal mixers but more for production.
BTW, Wheres Dateq\Ecler ?

http://www.allen-heath.com/xone/

Posted by Ariels on Nov-17-2003 09:25:

LOL ... Great...

Posted by Carl0s on Nov-17-2003 14:27:

I own a Vestax PCV-175.....its a bad ass dj mixer, but I think if I start blurring the lines between musician and dj then I would need a mixer with more options and whatnot...but for the DJ you cant go wrong with Vestax.

Posted by pumavisor808 on Nov-18-2003 00:38:

I voted for Allen & Heath for now... but I might have to change my vote if the new Denon mixer is all they say it's gonna be...

You can't hear the EQ in CUE...

PCV - 275 [I own one] is better ofcourse.

Allen and heat has a Mixer:

Great mixer for producers, it has 4 extnded channels for those who want to combine mixing recoded sources and live ones...

I have that mixer, and it owns all. Sound is incredible. Though i don't need that many options, i got it for a wicked price, and couldn't pass it up. Hope the :92 doesn't make it look bad though.....

oh ya, and its allen & HEATH, just in case it wasn't a typo

Are you talking of the Xone 62? If yes, look at this: ModXone

I own this modified version, and I vote for this as the best mixer.
