If you visit that site i think there is some sort of way to get either the tape or mp3 of most of the sets.

More likely they were recorded at the event either by a club-goer or straight to a DAT.

I don't think there was very good consumer portable recording equipment back then, which is why I asked...

was this the hacienda set that about 15 minutes into it Sasha passes out drunk on the turntables causing one of the worst sounds i've ever heard only to have the most annoying MC ever say "getting kinda scratchy.... saksha!"

then later the music stops because sasha went out onto the dance floor to hit on a couple of girls?
