opinions: how do u want to feel when walking into a club night
right, as you the majority of u may gather, that i run the pause nights @ Charles St in sheffield. But... for those who enjoy clubbing in general and for those who actually been to pause; i need ur opinions 2 structure the night.
Some might already disagree, but the general structure of the music for us in the main (1st floor) room is currently prog house/trance - trance (build from 11-1) - variants of techno
One of my main points being is that do u walk into a club and would like to hear like really energetic trance, or would u rather hear more proggy styles of music? Would you be in the mood if the music earlier on was being played around 138/139bpm rather than the usual prog speeds of 135? Set times of 11-12, should it be peak time style trance or should it be built up still towards the 12-1 dj to hit it off?
What style of music is prefered end of a night? Bearing in mind, cos we use at least 4 djs a night per room, the styles need to somewhat flow from each other.
The next pause is due for 11-Dec, and i would like everyone's opinion in order for us to provide a decent night. Scrutiny is expected so hit it guys!! 
im still a believer of starting off with slow prog trance, because for the majority of ppl who walk into the club at the beginning they are not gona be pissed n wan2 dance. i think when ppl first get there they wan2 socialise, then maybe an hour later when they are starting to get merry they would pay more attention to the music by which time the music should be more melodic prog trance. then build it up from there as the night progresses.
what the twat above said. the first thing i do is go and natter to all the peeps i know, its a good hour before im dancing. no1 dances as soon as they get there.
stick with a prog start

i think first hour prog, second hour prog/trance, 3rd full trance, 4th sumthing hard
i havent been to pause yet but i want to go to next one at 11 dec
when i walk in to a club i would like to hear something plasent so i can get use to clubs atmoshper also get chance to socialise with people as the night goes on to listen to the mix so it gives me a fix. at midnight the mood will be right the tunes will be so out of sight. my mate will be hanging and ill be banging
