New Allen & Heath mixer coming out!
http://www.xone.co.uk/
I don't know anything about it, other than the fact that its the Xone:92, and that its supposed to be incredible, which is a given i guess. Anyone know anything? Its not going to be a rotary is it?
*drewls*
pics or stfu.... please?
none released yet
This is going to hold up my purchase of the Xone:62, because I need to see what this mixer looks like, as well as what this mixer will cost. If its between $1000-$1600, Im buying it right away. I dont believe it would cost more than the Xone:464.
Any predictions as if this thing will bring down the prices of the 32 and 62?
es
fark i hope its got a sharper scratch curve!
cant wait to see this baby!
I think that the :92 will be the :62 with 3 extra channels.
Fuckin can't wait to see this... I think it'll be smaller than the 464, but an upgrade on the 62... not sure how it'll be an improvement though, I doubt that it will have 9 channels though, why would you want 9 channels on a DJ mixer?
/me beats off over his avatar
It would be the only thing that makes sense:
Xone:32 = 3 Channels
Xone:62 = 6 Channels
Xone:92 = 9 Channels ???
My only other hunch would be it is a Xone:62 on steroids w/ effects and samplers.

It would be very cool and yes it would be expensive - I'd say $2000 easy. But samplers and f/x really isnt A&H style, they seem like more of a convention company that invests more time in the mechanics and technicalities, i.e. their very well known quality in sound.
There is so much to be left to speculation until the unvailing.
It could be a 9 channel mixer.
It could be a :62 on steroids.
It could be a smaller version of the 464 and like-wise a larger version of the :62.
Dec. 11th will be a big day.
Durak, the nomenclature doesnt fit here..
My guess: 62 with EFFECTS processor.... & LCD..

I checked out an audio gear shop today and they said it would be a 9 channel mixer, and very much everything else like the 62. ie: xone62 = 6 channels, xone:92 = 9 channel + some simple extras/touchups.
What the hell makes the Xones so damn good? And how can you pay like 1500 for just a mixer. Thats crazy!
Primarily it's what Allen & Heath pride themself on - Sound Quality. Other than that, A&H hardware is all the result of audiophile standard engineering, as in the components used are the best available. Try one out if you get the chance, you'll blow your load (several times) over the homogeneity of EQs and the faders, and the seemingly simple design that actually puts many useful and effective features at your fingertips. You get what you pay for
What is the point of having 9 channels?
