Ok this isn't about the wooden board hung by the front door but I'm referring to Bono's speech friday night at the Liberal Convention Centre. Him and Paul Martin seem to agree on many things. Bono's half hour speech was brilliant and I hadn't heard a speech like that in a while. He covered many issues like debt and foreign aid, but mainly emphasized few times that we as canadians set the example for the rest of the world to follow...hehe lucky us.
So while the prime minister and prime minister in waiting listened it was interesting to hear from the eyes of not a politician but 'a rock star.' His whole speech...inspiring to say the least...
just thought i'd share

Bono and the rest of U2 have alwasy been involved in charity and politics.

I wish i had cable to see it tho
