No more Gatecrasher at the Republic?

Or so the rumour is on the Crasher board... apparently they're selling the club and its up to whoever buys it if they let Crasher carry on there. Boxing day will maybe be the last one

Lets hope its just a rumour, although it is people who 'know' people high up in Gatecrasher who are saying this

Its been on the cards for months, the only reason they did the refurb was so it didnt look so crappy when they sell it...

Shame but i know that crasher does have its slot at heaven at least till the middle of next year.......

its the end of our favourite club, and the end of an era. I'm absolutly gutted I know its been coming, but its still awful news

yeh i feel very sad. i felt very sad in summer after black n white night, kinda knew the refurb would mean an end to crasher at that club and when i heard there wasnt gonan be a crasher after the bday until boxing day i knew it was the end

crasher will still be stuff of legends but it will be known at its end for trying to rake in the big bucks like it did before at any cost, regardless of what the clubbers thought.

however i cans till look back and think of the good times had with great friends that ive met there

Yes and no. It is sad that it�s very possibly the last one, however I�d rather have it stop there and remember it how it was rather than continue it�s descent and have the memories of how it turned out to be.

I have never been to crasher and wish i'd have went earlier - when it was sed to be good.

Although i did go to the crasher at the NEC last november, that was very good, loads of uktas and friends from slinky were there!

I think its sad, but at the end of the day they did it too themselves, far too concentrated about raking the cas flow in.... i think that goes for most of the superclubs now... Im really suprised slinky hasnt gone monthly yet TBh.

Im gonna be goin to crasher boxing day as ive decided that goin out for NYE is gonna be a waste of money as the line ups are pretty damn shit, and i know that i will have to drive to get to wherever i wanna go!!!

Shame its the end for crasher, lets just hope passion and GK fill there shoes well, which i think they are already starting to do!
