Tupac Ressurection
saw it last night...got to admit that was one good documentary....have alot more respect for the man after watching it...
any thoughts..im kinda lazy to post mine right now
I thought I saw a commercial for it, but I didn't really care enough to watch.
And I prolly won't care enough to watch the rerun if there is one. I never really liked any of his music, although I can see where a lot o people would like it, I just don't.
its actually a movie in theatres.....and it has nothin to do with his music..
im telling u ud respect the man after watching it
I don't get it ... the guy's been dead for 7 or 8 years and he's come out with more shit (cd's, movies, awards, etc.) than he ever did when he was alive. What the hell is going on???
he was a living god of poetry and raps man..he made 3 albums in 2 weeks...
not only that but he used to make 25 songs per album and cut the ones he didnt like....
Did you guys know that Makaveli "came back to life" (never really died) after 7 years and this movie comes out after 7 years of Tupac's "death".

and if each of his songs were not talented he wouldnt have been ranked 4th in the worlds all time greatest writers right next to william shakespeare
tupac was the best rapper in my opinion.
not the best rapper...when it came to flo and the different techniques in rapping he wasnt the best....but he for sure had the most meaningful most entriquette rhymnes ever in man kind...i think biggie sounded better....but tupac was just poetic and so crazy with his poetry that its mindboggling
I think everyone needs to chill the f#ck out and leave 2Pac alone .....seriously. Let the man Rest IN Peace !!!!! I'm sick of all these 2Pac covers and LPs and movies coming out w/ his name all over it. Its a sick desparate attempt for those w/o talent to cash in off of his talent. Dont get me wrong I loved 2Pac since waaaay back, but now it seems that all these kids these days and people who have never truly gave him credit when he was alive (media, government, etc) are all over his dick ! When in actuality, people hated his lyrics or never listened to him in the first place. Either that or they were popping pimples before they knew who 2Pac was. Now we have Eminem, Ja Rule, and 50 Cent talking about how 2Pac was and this and that! Its bullsh!t......if 2Pac was still alive today, most rappers wouldnt even be in the game or they wouldnt have that THUG attitude because 2Pac would have murdered these fools!
In my final words.....leave the man alone!!!
shook1 i agree totally ppl are just cashin in off of him riht now...especially suge knight eventho hes the one who killed him...but the documentary was actually produced by his mother...its a really awesome documentary..from his early childhood to the moment he died...all the narration was done with interviews he once did....awesome
the guys was certainly a great lyricist
the 7 day theory album under his aliase makaveli was simply superb
the guy had talent

2pac and Twista is the only rappers I ever liked.
I saw the movie and it was pretty interesting.
There were some cool random facts I didn't know.. like the whole Baltimore School of Performing Arts, Tony Danza, Mickey Rourke, and ballet!
I recommend it for hardcore Tupac fans. B/C I don't know if $9.00 would really be worth it. (Heck, I didn't pay for my ticket.)
Though I thought it was funny that for this movie, the movie theater I went to had special mean looking (almost bouncer type) ushers making sure everything was okay, putting everyone in check. Maybe the theater supposes a movie like this would attract too many ghetto people. Hehe.
