ever been to an outdoor club, and you're dancing to great music, sipping a fruity cocktail and dancing into the wee hours of the night? then, the best part, the music's pitching hard, loud, the sun is coming up and you're putting on your sunglasses as you continue to dance. Ohhhhhh how great that feeling is! do you like that or haven't been at an outdoor party yet?
and what's some of the recent parties you guys have been to that will stay in your memory for a while?

these are the moments i�m thinking: i love to life this live 
it�s also real cool when come home from a event in the morning, you go to bed and when you wake up it�s night again. after waking up, you take a shower, eat smoething and then you go to the next event. i can do this every day!!!! the only thing who can destroy this perfect live is the week between the weekends... 
In Gainesville FL, a few years ago, there was an event called the alachua music harvest that had a "rave" sponsered by simons and other local clubs. It was called the "Soul House" and was in the middle of the woods. I can relate to everything you guys just said, since this is one of the most vivid memories of my life. Some sweet shit playing, mad shit everywhere, and just the greatest atmosphere. I really like the line above my post about weekdays. That kills me.

Outdoor parties are THE SHIT ... some of the best events I've ever been to have been held outdoors ... it's amazing - just watching the sunrise whilst listening to some mindblowing tunes and being surrounded by hundreds (thousands ?) amazing people is an unforgetable experience.
Right, these experiences you remember on a rainy day, when you sitting alone at home and hear your favorite trance track. In this moment i�m always smiling...
TRANCE STRIKES BACK
We have "Soft & Comfy" raves here every so often. These
raves are always outside, and are kinda exclusive, (invite only).
The atmosphere at these events is simply put, life altering.
Sitting around a bomfire with like minded people, all sharing
the same emotions, connecting on levels you've never thought
possible. As the sun starts coming up, everyone begins to leave,
but what happened there will last forever.....(sshheesshh, I sound
like such a sap...ha ha)

yeah, we should create our own religion called like "Trance is the only G.O.D.
we are having parties each day and night and the only thing we do is making love... 
and everyone who will join us must pay monthly some dollar, and so we all can life in peace and harmony with many phat bass-speakers around us.
every weekend we doing a meeting where we all siting in a circle and one of us announce the words of the great TRANCE G.O.D.

I dunno man, the sun scares me after a night out. I like to get back home, into my bed before the sun comes up for some reason. I'm weird I guess...but I don't doubt that outdoor parties aren't fun!
the gatecrasher summer sound system was awesome! it rained all day and night, but nobody gave a shit, we were too busy partying!
that's the only outdoor party I've been to, but it was so good I'm doing all the big events next year!
Yeah, I did a Full Moon Party on this island in Thailand. We got the boat across from Koh Samui in the evening and the party started right there on the beach as the sun went down. Everybody partied all through the night until the sun came up again, at which point I headed to this hilltop bar thing which was outdoors but with a canopy. The view was right over the beach and the bay and you could watch all the Thai fishermen in their boats and stuff while you danced or chilled. This went on well into the afternoon. Magical.
Also the opposite of that was Homelands this year. Was a gorgeous day, everybody in t-shirts and sunglasses dancing to Tiesto. The sun started to go down as he played, and the stage lights started to come on. By the end of his set it was darkness

Im getting goosbumps reading this thread! I've been wanting to go to an day outdoor rave/party/event for a while now. The closest thing I've been to was area one this past weekend, but that was held in a tent. Not exactly the same...

I've always thought about partying till sunrise, heaving the right tune spark in the speakers just when the sun begins to rise, been in the club , heaving the rays hit through the top of the club .. and the windows
Ive also thought about those Goa parties in Thailand and SOuth africa , in the beach where they party till sunrise , as mentioned above, imagine been with the person your inlove with, with the music blazing on the horizon, and there you are .. on the top of the hill, seen the scene looking like paradise, hearing the beats and people still dancing as the sun goes up .. must be unforgetable moment.
The best event I been to was Ultra fest, im underage so I dont have much access to what I like .. last year this was held on the beach and I missed it .. must have been the hell out of fun !
Anyways, I know for sure I will experience this ... so no worries
outdoor parties are the shit... every party should be outside.. my fav one i went to was in the desert.. i didnt leave untill 11am.. at night there were billions of stars and when the sun rose it was soo beautiful and in the spring time in the desert everything is so pretty.. there were lil teeny purple and yellow flowers all over the ground. if u were just looking around everything looked green but if u looked down on the ground the flowers were everywhere. ah just amazing.. then i climbed on top of a hill and there was just miles upon miles of land and u could see forever.. and there was nothing.. gives u an idea of how big the world really is. HUGE hehe. mmm outdoor parties.....
i get a bit scared everytime i see the sun after a party... i start to think, where the fuck how all that time passed so fast? what was i doing? and i get tripped out...

Outdoor is the only way to go. clubbing is for indoors its a whole other effect with the lighting and such BUT any rave i go to is always outdoors. seriously theres something much more freeing about it i think. there was this one i wont forget that i went to when i lived in canada. it was out in the middle of nowhere nova scotia, in a valley by a hill, and the thing was that the sky that night was so beautiful the full moon and the clouds made some scenes i've never ever seen before on a night... they also had a women doing live psy/goa vocals throught the whole night which resonated on a equal wave lenght with the earth. very cool stuff.
most recent outdoor party
the last outdoor party that i've attended was last week...it took place in Novi Sad, Yougoslavia from the 6th until the 14th of July. It was awesome! it was held outside on a HUUUUUUUUUUGE park type complex that is on a hill and connected to the city by a bridge because water is around it. It was more like a festival thing...there were local dj's from 6pm up until 11, and after that there was bob sinclair, kosheen, roni size, finley quaye, luke slater, e-play, Salome de Bahia, 4Hero... and it would last until 7 am maybe even later on 5 different stages. there was about 50,000 people, and it was sooooooooooooo fun! i went for only 2 days though, and now i regret not going for all 9.
another awesome memory i have of the whole outdoor thing is actually a clubbing experience. a club called EXILE, in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, and it's on a boat. the boat can fit about 150 people, and it has a second level, that can fit about 50. so it's not that huge, but dancing to great music around blue lighting and water around you is great. then the sun comes up and it's the best feeling in the world. this play is full all 7 days a week, and the music ranges from drum and bass, techno, house, trance. last night it was drum and bass, and im not a fan of that, but the boat next to it was playing trance, so i just walked 50 metres over to that club on a boat. the good thing about this place is that i dont have to wait weeks for some great outdoor party cuz i can just get in a cab and be here within 15 minutes any time i want.

It's sunday july 22 10:00 pm mexico time, i just arrived from an outdoor party that started on saturday at around 11:00 pm, so you can guess i was partying HARD!, this was my second outdoor party and by far the best, the music was primarily Psycho but it had a really cool chill-out place with ambient and down-tempo, at first I danced like crazy (i had an acid on me) but at around 4 am. i want to chill looking at the stars and started to trip really cool, then this girl who i like a lot, sits next to me and we start talking and tripping, then we lay down on the grass looking at the stars talking about life and stuff, some moments of silence (only the music beats) I can't describe how cool it was, we said everything to eachother without even talking , It was magic (yeah, it sounds corny but what the hell, I needed to say it here), then we stayed like that until sunrise, speaking about how beautiful was it and stuff. after sleeping (or al leat trying to) we continued dancing untli 12 pm. and we spent the rest of the after-noon together as well the evening with her, my freinds and stuff.
the point is, outdoor parties can be an experience that can leave you a lot I was sooo, moved by many things and now I feel, tired ..yes but emotionally satisfied and in oner word...happy.
(yes it's a lot to read but I had to express it) (and the good part of that is that now we are dating!
