| Originally posted by HyPeRSoNiC he asked how it worked..... meaning, how was it possible to point at the screen and shoot......... I think I know....... what you see on the TV are actually the electrons sent from the TV's bulb..... the explaination on how each electron lands in the exact spot it's supposed to is pretty long, but it has something to do with the magnetic charges on each atom sent from the bulb, drawing the atom to that specific spot....... anyway, I thought maybe the zapper sends some kind of magnetic charge or signal to the atom it's pointed at, indicating that you shot at that exact spot........ I leanred about how the TV works in physics class, and what I said about the zapper is just a guess, so don't take my word for it |
We had a nintendo in our classroom last year, played it all the time. Damn that was a blast! Got stolen during summer vacation tho...
man... what did ROB do again?? i can barely remember seeing those... that's too old skool for me!
Actually the gun would take a snapshot of a very concentrated part of your computer screen, and then the NES would compare the color of this snapshot against what it knew the color of the targets were. If you matched the color, the target would be considered hit. This is why, if you played with your color settings, it was possible to shoot anywhere on the screen and hit every single duck on Duck Hunt
OMFG WHY DID I SELL MY FRIGGING NES!!!!! BLAH
these stupid emulators dont have gyromite or the gun.
BAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
i misss double dragon 2 sooo badly now.
