word!

gotta love zapp brannigan with his ultimate pick-up lines and everlasting words of wisdom:

"i find the most sensual part of a woman is the boobies."

"if i said you had a beautiful body would you take your pants off and dance around a bit?"

"the quickest way to a girl's bed is through her parents. have sex with them, and you're in."

"kif, i have made it with a woman... inform the men!"

"captain's journal stardate april 13th. point 2: we have failed to uphold brannigan's law; however, i did make it with a hot alien babe [pause] and in the end, is that not what man has dreamt of since first he looked up at the stars? [long pause] kif, I'm asking you a question."

"she's a beautiful ship, all right. shapely, seductive. i'm gonna fly her brains out."

"brannigan's law is like brannigan's love - hard and fast."

(after being repeatedly raped by the amazonian women) "please we need rest. the spirit is willing, but the flesh is spongy and bruised."

"if you so much as glance at another woman, i'll be all over leela like a fly on a pile of very seductive manure."

"you'd sacrifice this beautiful woman for a moderately attractive ape? you've been smoking some bad granola."

"that young man fills me with hope... and some other emotions that are weird and deeply confusing."

"...and like all my plans, it's so simple an idiot could have devised it!"

kif: that new recruit is phenomenal, sir.
zapp: yes, he edged out my old mark by 2 seconds. and 16 minutes. and 12 hours... i do plan to finish some day, kif.

"If we can hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards... checkmate!"

"in the game of chess you can never let your opponent see your pieces."

"you win again, gravity!"

Family guy has some of the funniest quotes ever!

Peter (as a child in a museum): Teacher, why did all the dinosaurs die out?

Teacher: Because you touch yourself at night!

----------------------

Peter: Hey Lois, did I ever tell you I was the third Hardy boy?

Lois: Peter, you know there was no third Hardy boy.

Peter: Just like there was no apocalypse? He shoots he scores!

----------------------

Artist: We even have Kate Moss. (Kate Moss turns sideways, revealing herself)

Chris: Holy crap! Are you the matrix?!?

----------------------

Lois: Hey Meg, look at your little booties.

Meg: Cool.

Lois: Oh and here is your little hat, isn't it adorable? And your tail...

Meg: My what?

That's just genius where can I find all these quotes, I need a good laugh

I like all 3 shows, I've grown up with the simpsons so I can recite more quotes than deemed healthy, and I find family guy bloody hillarious from just how much risk they take with their show, and futurama is just awesome and carries the wondrous futuristic theme very well Oooh my I must watch more soon

Futurama is brilliant, so are the Simpsons.

the original series of simpsons were pretty funny when you were young or whatever but when you see them shits now they're pretty garbage, they've dated, but maybe all new art forms have got to start simple.

like a fine wine, though, the simpsons has matured into a witty, original and well produced show. it is the most subversive piece of tv about and the beauty of it is that it is produced in the belly of the beast, under the often right wing and monopolistic Rupert Murdoch's C20th FOX.

Probably Simpsons... Futurama's really good too. But Family Guy... not seen that for ages, dunno if/when its on TV here?

I agree, the show started like another drawn dysfunctional family, but once more characters (townspeople) were brought into the show, there was more room for other litterary/media references and mockups, so yeah, eventually it matured into a very witty show. Then came seasons8 and up and the show just turned into adventures of Homer the big, fat Whiner ... man Fox has really turned every good show on it into garbage after just a few seasons :P Well, there's always the senseless jokes of the Family Guy to keep me laughing (and the occasional Futurama that I catch on TV)

Futurama, no question!

"Family Guy" has too much singing in it, which, in my opinion, is rather annoying.

simpons are classic.. but family guy touches those more offensive subjects with an awesome twist. (religion, sexuality, feminisim)

oh and of course.. stuie is hilarious

Posted by DJ Mikey Mike on Nov-25-2003 05:43:

It's pretty fucking close!

But.. I personally think Simpsons shouldn't be up there with Futurama and Family Guy. If you look at the first few series of Simpsons, it's world class stuff. Very clever humour just like that of Futurama and Family Guy. They didn't try and get by on Homer making stupid noises, and Marge saying some of the most annoying ridicuous crap that she does in the later series. But where as Futurama & Family Guy both quit while they were ahead, Simpsons at around series 9 just completely ran out of ideas but kept milking it. Which is why if you take a look at the whole picture and not just the memorable earlier episodes, Simpsons has gotten very poor imo, and therefore does not deserve to be up there with Futurama and Family Guy.

My 0.02p
