i am going shroom hunting tommorrow!

we found something to do by our house.

Mushroom Hike
Los Altos Hills
Learn how to identify common families of mushrooms. Wade Leschyn of the Mycological Society of San Francisco discusses edible and poisonous varieties. Bring a basket for collecting specimens and a small knife. Hike contingent on weather.

I hope they teach us to identify the special kind too. Then we are set for the rest of the day .

apparently there are a lot in the mountains where i live but there are a lot of poisonous ones and we dont want to eat those.

Dried, it's quite a bit. Wet, about a tenth as potent as dry by weight. Of course, depends on the mushroom variety too...

smoking shrooms is not a very efficient way to get tripped out.

3/8's of shrooms should go for anywhere from 60-75 in the U.S. personally i think if you pay more than 20 for an eighth your getting ripped off.

the best time to trip if you find special mushrooms is an hour or so before dusk. that way you can get a day trip into a night trip, which is fucking bad ass because everything that you saw during the day will look different by night time, kinda like two trips in one.

Shroom hunting is so much fun. I was up in some misty mountain with huge ass ferns and fronds and this old old log bridge hunting for 2 hours. CRAZY variety in those things, and you never notice them unless you look for them! and some asian chick came by and told us all about how you can tell whats good and stuff like that. She said we shouldnt eat the blue ringers though lol
