Quite sickening, leading it is Man U chairman. Say its like an insurance policy. Dont they have enough money as it is. It will bridge the gap even further, and shows what a marketing world football is rapidly becomming

The clubs do have an argument. They are the ones that pay the player's wages, train them, give them oppurtunities etc. They have invested an enormous amount of time and money into the players.

Then again, it is a major international football tournament and players should be free to represent their countries.
