I haven't been on these boards in a while...no internet in my new apartment yet!! Moved back to the Hammer after living with my parents for a while Checked out Sole night club in Hamilton for the first time, Dekoze and Addy were spinning back to back...sweet funky ass tribal and tech house...so nice. Anybody interested in supporting the scene here in Hamilton (progressive, breaks, house at Copper on THursday too)...pm me or add me to your MSN list ([email protected]). Looking to hit up some of these parties (so nice not having to travel all the way to TO just to get a dose of great music!).

I was very sorry that I never made it down the copper lounge before i moved out of hamilton. Purhaps I should go back sometime just for sake to checking it out.

I almost went to this last night. Really hard to turn down but i need to be at full strength for mauro and sven. Copper lounge is sweet, not a big venue, but it was very well done.

i'm live on top of stoney creek (binbrook) and i was wondering if there were any bars/clubs in hamilton that play any of the harder stuff. I heard that copper was pretty good, just the music was just tribal house and prog. Any techno in hamilton i could check out or what?

No techno in hamilton!!!! NONE.... well as far as i know. There was a few techno djs last year, i havent heard one this year. The only techno i knew of was me in hess village in the summer LOL.. me and you should bring the sound to the steel city.

I know! I wish I could have made it to this. Sole isn't that bad though. Copper is much nicer a club with the whole "copper ambience" theme.

I've seen flyers for techno parties in Hamilton before. Also...for those into techno...the music last night at sole that Addy and Deko-ze spun was very hard and techy at times as well.

I met this guy at the club who throws warehouse parties under the production name "pulse productions." Anyone heard of this? I'd love to check out these parties. They're in the Toronto areas. One of the residents at Sole spins hard funky tech house there. Sounds cool.

Billy bobs... LOL.... that would be jokes! There is no trance in hamilton either. Im glad to see Luke, Addy and deko ze bringin some good music to the city, we really need it. Often when im in T.O and i ask someone where they are from and they say near hamilton. That would be sweet if we organized a night in hamilton at a half decent venue. Copper lounge is ideal.

Baby Joel...yes, that's the guy who opened for Addy and Deko-ze. very nice set, props to him. Apparently he spins there frequently (he is one of the residents). Seriously, any tranceaddicts in the area interested in supporting the scene..it's nice to know there's a scene to support!
