Talking Give me a decent web hoster pls!!

alright,

im looking for a good web hoster, preferably one that handles databases and scripts, cgi, php, asp etc.

Looking for about 500-1000meg space

Plus the ability to have sub domains and able to link dif URL's to it... for instance, i want some personal domains linking to it.

Is it possible to have sommat like this...

www.yellafella.com, www.thisthingcalleddance.com, and www.trapdoormedia.com etc sharing the same hosting web space, or are you only allowed to link one domain to it? If not how can i go about linking multiple domains to it?

Recommendations pls, pics are due to be uploaded cheers

The catch is.........

There is no catch! They are a quality hosting company who I use also, not had 1 problem with them so far. The only annoying thing is you don't have access to a control panel, stats etc, but they will send you that kind of thing if you need it. I got my account for 22 a year cos I already had a domain, just email them and they'll sort it for you.

it does look good...

but i want to work with php etc later, i still need a host that allows me to have multiple domain names using same web space, possibly in dif folders. Else im gonna have to assign each domain name to a host, thats gonna cost quite a bit and there will be too much to maintain

Lol, i did convert you. We were going to use them, as they seem to be the best hoster on the net, perfect for any webmaster, also valuehost is pretty good as well, but when superhosting say unmetered bandwith, they dont allow the system to be abused.

But they are the best

Well superhosting seems to be the best hostingpackage on the net atm, and have a very helpful team to help with your assigning url thing.

Valuehost is what we use to host, but they dont do the package we have anymore

Hope that explains it

this one sounds good, just dropped them an email.

Does anyone know about pop3 emails? Is that dependent on what domain name u register with them from the start then?

70 quid a year, 700mb space, unlimited, and i mean unlimited bandwith, we must have easily gone through over a terabyte a month at times

Superhosting is far cheaper, a couple of people I work with have moaned about the downtime with this company. What I do suggest is to stay away from Host Europe or any of its subdivisions as they are wank.
