Jurgen Vries - Comments??

I haven't heard anyone talk about Jurgen Vries on this forum.
Just wanted to know what you think.....

The only songs i have heard are "The theme", "the wilderness"
and "Brave New World (The Opera Song)".

I thought Brave New World was pretty crap, but i liked "The theme".
Anyway, i was just wondering what you all think of him and his music.......

Not sure if I agree with the whole concept of a commercial alias, but Tate is so good on the non-commercial side of things you gotta love him.

The Theme and The Opera song are IMO the best commercial trance I hear on the radio and such, so credit to him there. Although saying that The Theme did get old pretty fast.

I assume that you know JV = Darren Tate.

Anyhow, I generally prefer the stuff darren does under his other alias', but I must confess to being addicted to The Wilderness.

i reallyyyyyyy love darren tate even under "Jurgen vries" alias...especially "The theme" i think it's one of the most talented producers....All his tracks...one by one are sooooooo beautiful

The Theme is a great track; The Wilderness is a cool track too.
But i also prefer his stuff under Darren Tate.
