Question Whats your favourite driving game?

Mine is probably Metropolis Street Racer on DC, the graphics are still fantastic, handling is spot on, and the Kudos points sytem works really well.

I also love Sega Rally on the Saturn and the sequel on DC.

Never been huge on Gran Turismo but i dont own a PS2 so iv never given the recent ones a chance.

Gran Turismo 3 for sure, and it will probably be change to Gran Turismo 4 when it comes out. I'm just sick of it being delayed! It was set for like a Jan 2004 release and now it's pushed back to April 2004.

Live For Speed

Best sim ever, no licensed cars but the almost perfect physics is the thing that will keep you playing for a long time

i can't get my mind off Initial D 2nd version

Posted by Guiltless on Nov-26-2003 04:25:

initial d is great, though it costs a hell of a lot play...just can't keep shelling out a dollar just to play one game.

as for a console driving game, gt3 is pretty good

Posted by Moongoose on Nov-27-2003 13:45:

A full version is about 1/3 of a price of a full game. But its worth more than that, i absolutely love that game!

GT series are the best and i also liked Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2 and 0 on DC and PS2
but right now im playing NFS:U (PC)

midnight club 2, decent soundtrack and crazy fast

GT3 & Midnight Club 2

I don't play much PC games. I'm all PS2

I think nothing will ever come close to the much enjoyment I've had with playing the original Sega Rally [Arcade and Saturn]. I remember spending hours and hours and dollars and dollars on it endlessly! Ahhhh the memories. Bahahaha I was pretty decent at the game, and I use to feel sorry for the people who would challange me - that'd be wasting their money

Posted by Dj Dizzy on Dec-03-2003 22:51:

hard to choose cuz i got so many, but my favorites are:

x box - project gotham racing 2 (only new racing game i've played but i love it)
playstation: gran turismo 1, need for speed 1 & 3
saturn: daytona usa, sega rally, need for speed 1

Posted by NItratE on Dec-07-2003 03:22:

ha nfs2 was my first driving game too . Been a big fan of the nfs series. My other fav driving game is Racer...more of a driving simulation but it's fun and free.

I always liked the NFS series, but nothing beats Gran Tourismo! That game rocks!

Do futuristic racers count like the Wipeout, Xtreme G and F Zero series?
