Hybrid in Boston this friday! who's coming?

Alright yall, Hybrid's gonna be in Boston this friday at the Paradise Rock Club. Just seeing if anyone else is gonna be at this show, maybe we could meet up either before the show or inside the club. This should be a great show!!!

Also, I've never been to Paradise, but judging from most of the groups that perform here, this isn't your typical electronic club at all, haha, hence the name "Rock Club"... does anyone know if the atmosphere for this night is gonna be more geared your typical club environment, with fog machines and lasers and the like?? I'm trying to convince a friend of mine to come, but she's more used to places like the Matrix (pretty techno-y), and I'm trying to convince her that she'd have a great time at Hybrid.

It is a much more lounge-like atmosphere where you would think single folk/rock type guys would come and sing... I found it weird when I heard that Hybrid was playing there! But alas... I will be back home in Colorado for Thanksgiving break!!!

i will definitely go, my sister and maybe her friends might tag along.

hybrid might do a live PA and then a DJ set, i'm not sure, but i heard that they've done it in the past.

when they played finished symphony, i went inSANE.... their set was too short though, and I didn't like how they paused between songs, and I really didnt like how they didnt do a dj set@!! ugh! but still a great night

Once they got on, the show def. rocked , I was quite disapointed about no dj set after too, and what the hell was that guy playing before the show started!
Out of Dark and Finished Symphony were too good. Alex is one kick ass drummer, I can't wait to see these guys again. Wish I had seen this thread ealier I could have met up with a few of you.

yeh, the dj set woulda been nice, but the show kicked major ass without it.

haha, the warm-up 'dj' played such crap, i was LMAO at how people were booing him and yelling "HYBRID!!"

hybrid played a fucking awesome set, i REALLY liked True To Form, If I Survive, Know Your Enemy, Unfinished Symphony, and the track they played before If I Survive... and they stayed afterwards to sign and were REALLY cool and nice! my sister and her friend absolutely loved the music & the guys too; said they haven't danced like that in a while (considering they go to clubs, albeit crappy ones, almost every weekend)

oh, a few more things...

the place was kinda small and rather sketchy, but not packed...

the sound was OK - the bass was so tough, i could feel it with the hairs on my arms... but at the same time it completely drowned the mids and the vocals at times, especially the signature hybrid violins and synths... the vocals were too difficult to hear...

and can we compile a tracklist, maybe?

nice pics whiskers!! and I gotta agree on the poor quality of the club and the sound system, but we went for a reason, and that was to see hybrid, which was still amazing!!! i'll post pics, videos, etc later, after school rapes me for another day or two.
