Best software for a newbie trance producer?
What software would you recommend for a newbie? I know none of the packages are easy to learn, and any that are won't be any good. I've played around with the FL Studio (Fruity Loops) Demo a bit. Should I stick with this, or get into something else? Thanks for any advice.

Stick with it. Its an upgradable studio so you can make it bigger and better with plugins and soft-synths. There are also plenty of Fruity producers on here if, so if you run into any problems, there is alsways someone to help you out.
Yeah, you should definitely stick with the best producing software ever created!

like they said.. keep with fruitystudio..
and next time... USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION

Try demos of various software and see what fits you best.

Thanks to everyone who said to stick with FL. Is there anyone who would recommend anything else, and if so, why? Are there any weaknesses of FL that another package is better at, etc.? Thanks again, Kiragan |

Start with Fruity! See where your needs take you. Some never feel the need to get anything else and many of these same people get professional results.
Try out other demos of other programs and see what you like best. I am not really comfortable with Fruity as a midi sequencer
. I don't like the concept of generating loops and then mixen them. So I tried Cubase SX, and I like it. It's also a more complete software package than Fruity. Try the search engine on this forum and look what other users opinion about music software packages.
