DJM500 vs. DJM600: The Differences?

What are the differences between the Pioneer DJM500 and 600, other than the 8 second sampler? pioneerprodj.com doesnt say much. they both seem to have the same effects, layout, inputs, outputs, faders, etc...

also whats the price difference. I know the 600 is Pioneer priciest mixer, followed by the 3000 (which I have - basically the 19" version of the 600 - amazing mixer, but I may be selling it)

thanks in advance

The Sampler, and the headphone Cue feature are the main differences. But I don't believe there is much else different on them.
Try another search for them on another website. Or on Ebay.

Cheers.

important difference is the automatic time calculator for the effects. 600 has it, 500 doesn't. it's pretty indispensable for me.

Also you can control how much of an effect you use on the 600 which I dont think you can on the 500, though Im not 100% sure.

After buying the 500 and playing with a 600, I regret buying the 500. Might as well spend the extra 200-300 and get a 600.

after going using the 3000 for so long, I think it would be impossible for me to go to a 500

no auto time calculator for the effects? no effect level adjustment? not happening

thx for the info

Don't the EQs on the 600 go about 4 to 6 dB lower than on the 500? They go from -20 to +12 on the 500.

it goes from -26 db to +12 db

I have a 500 mixer and have played on a 600 mixer. don`t think the small differeces are worth the extra money, but thats just my opinion
