Review: Cyrus King's Ibiza Documentary - Children of Ibiza

in case some of you haven't been to the music dicussion forum recently, our very own TOTA Kaveh aka. Cyrus King filmed a documentary while spending his summer of 2002 in Ibiza. The film is beautifully shot and editted featuring interviews with partiers, locals, and even DJ's such as Armin Van Buuren and John '00' Fleming.

If you get a chance to download it and watch it, I strongly suggest you do since I don't know how long it'll stay online for. Huge thanks goes out to Beh aka. drgoodvibe for hosting it. And bigUPS to Cyrus King for the excellent work..

it's the most truthful Ibiza movie out there.. Massive shouts go to Cyrus_king for this!! It brought out a host old memories when I went the same season the vid was shot!

well, when u live it's the UK in the next 'natural' thing to do!
...and getting GK to ur own uni twice a term without having to move from ur pub and having to treck up to birmingham for 8 hrs when the 'air' distance is like 2 hrs (shit public transport)...now that's spoilt!!! hehe!!

when are we gonna organize a TA IBIZA TRIP!??!

Actually Space was the hardest to get footage in. I went there three days before and after and management didnt approve for some reason... they wont even allow photographs inside that place.... very wierd.

oh yea that's true!! i remember now! that's probably why they only had these so-called space pods! they were actually all over the island... they look like an atm machine where u can take pics and send it off as a postcard via e-mail including a choice of ur own tunes! and then they were posted on the space website (which has now gone under btw) ... but yea..haha...i went on that site a year after i'd been there, completely by fluke, and i found a pic of my ex and me on the internet -a pic i had totally forgotten about!! bit of a shock!! ..esp the saucer eyes! hihi!

nonetheless, u really did a great job capturing some essential moments like the sunset at cafe del mar ...one of my fondest memories!!
