Review: ahlamalek's Bal en Blanc Video - 9 Year Anniversary

Another great video, this time by our friend & cousin fellow MTLTA ahlamalek who shot and editted much of this video which features some great footage from Montreal's own white party: Bal en Blanc festival of 2002 (9th year anniversary). The video really captures the essence and grace of this event as well as some great shots of Armin Van Buuren and Misstress Barbara enjoying themselves up in the DJ booth.

Great work and effects on this one, and really makes me miss those massives we used to have in TO back in the days.

That is Egyptian Empire - The Horn Track (Luke Slater remix) - released on Luke's label MUTE quite awhile ago.

Edit: this video is awesome. I love the slow motion camera work when she's going through her records.

Totally.. that is a very nice effect! The video is great Malek!! I really like the dj interactions the most.

the good news is that there's another clip coming too, housier with more about what surrounds that event and also I already got the contract for 2004

there won't be any major changes to the final one, just some bugs here and there... also its only fair that it gets posted first on the client's website first www.balenblanc.com
