all depends on how badly you want to see Oaky really

The line is workable especially if you are a girl. One of my friends who is a girl came to Ferry @ 1:30 and cut the whole line. The bouncer practically begged her to, so wear something scandulous and march up to the velvet rope like you own the place lol!

i'm going. i hear if u're male, bring lots of females to speed up your place on line. if u're female, u're as good as in. hope to see some of u guys there? oh and i'm worried about the dress code. i'm hearing different things from different people.

Posted by Vlad on Nov-26-2003 06:11:

I want to go with a few friends, but Im not 21 nor do I have a 21 ID.

If I tip the bouncer a $20, do you think he will let me in?

Just have Amy make you a Okenfold shirt......im sure you will have no problem cutting in line Janette

I just came back from oaki in boston...watch out because he did not play 1 single quality trance tune...he played benni bennasi tracks b2b, atrc, some fucked up bad remix of children. The best track he played was anne lennox - 1000 beautiful things, and i hate the song. Ian i wished i had a dvd player....

NO CASUAL, NO SNEAKERS! unless they are clean cut like diesel sneakers or something, i wore my nike's online and was thrown off easily....he just looked at me once up and down and said YOU off the line LOLS i was like ogreat so i changed into boots and got in no problem! stick to fitted clothes, khaki's and a nice shirt! thats my experience!

Hmm I actually thought last night was a great experience, reminded me of the good old GU02 days.. Does anyone know what cover will be and how long Oakenfold will be spinning for?

Let me know how this works out for you... I am willing to bribe the bouncer in order to get into Sasha for NYE.

I called the club and was told:
- club will be open from 9 pm to 7 am
- Oakie playing 1-5 am
- 18+
- no dress code
- $40 in advance (either at the club before 7 pm, or online - http://www.nextticketing.com/avalon2.html ), $50 at door

Let's see if that all turns out to be true

Its all good, on the site is says its 19+, so I will get in.

Posted by Vlad on Nov-26-2003 23:45:

I just called Avalon just to confirm what wallflower posted, and the club is 18+ and no dress code.

Posted by wallflower on Nov-27-2003 03:07:

a little late but... oh I forgot to mention the service charges for online tickets - dang, $6 per ticket + $3 per order
So you'd be paying almost full price - I'd hope there isn't as much of a wait in line.
I think it's like this for all of Avalon's events.
If you're lucky enough to be able to stop by the club beforehand, then you can save those charges.
