Gyros
i can go for one right now....need some greek and egyptian food
mmmmm...gyro
i'm so sick of gyros....but maybe its because i've been living in greece the past 2-3 months
but gyros in greece are different (and tastier) than the ones in the US
I ate a gyro today. Had Lamb and chicken in it. Very good shit... From a place in Georgetown, right on M Street.
Kebabs are better
Now I want a WKD :drools:
i neeeeeeeeeeeeeed (a kebab!)
Is it pronounced gyro or the way I say it, yeero?

gyro are a great "on-the-go" meal. i just cant believe the whole time i was in the greek isles and i couldnt find a place that had lamb gyros- they only had pork
so i settled for chicken
by the way, tzaziki sauce rulz!

pizza joints in NYC rock the best pizza ever!!! whenevre i am in new york i eat pizza and bagels! it just has to be done! hehe no contest anywhere else in the world. its all about NYC pizza and bagels!
on another note....a friend of mine forced me to try his fave gyro in the city.... i think it was a place called "gyro 2".... now THAT was VERY GOOD!!!
but gyro fans look out.... a proper place that has "shawarma", the egyptian/lebanese/middle eastern/turkish response to "gyros" is far SUPERIOR
same idea, better flavor...
