Suggestions on books plz.

There's probably a few threads on suggestions, but I'll be damned if I could find any in a search..

I'm going book shopping tomorrow and would like some suggestions.

Preferrably NON-fiction and in the science dept., but anything is welcome.

Last books I've read are -
A short History of Nearly Everything - Bill Bryson
Universe in a Nutshell - Stephen Hawking
Kingdom of Fear - Hunter S. Thompson

....just to give an idea of my tastes..

A book called tenderness. It is pretty good i thought considering i don't read alot. It's by Robert Cormier

on the philosophical side without a doubt, but Ishmael, by Daniel Quinn, was undoubtedly my favorite book ever. it changes the way you think

Own it. Universe in a Nutshell is pretty much a revised version with more illustrations. Excellent pick, though. Thanks.
