Ahh Oui, Oui, Monsieur Thierry Henry c'est tres bon. I had a field day watching my Gunners rip apart Inter without even close to a full strength squad, wow. Now its time to take care of business against Lokomotiv Moscow at Highbury, tired of Champions League disappointments, c'mon Arsenal

I was looking at the Champions League standings thinking of what outcomes would allow Arsenal to advance, and the one part which I felt would be the most difficult to achieve was beating Inter on the road. This makes me very very happy

Henry is a class act but is grossly inconsistent... Arsenal are always on a roll the first half of the season and have a hard time delivering the goods at the end...

Zidane is the best in the world in my opinion. Forwards dont deserve all the credit they get. Unfortunately its the goals that everyone remembers and not the culumative team effort behind them. On the flip side, defenders and goalies are the unsung heroes of the team and it would be nice to see a defender win the player of the year award for a change. Why Ronaldo is in this years list is beyond me.

T.Henry is DEFINATLY one of the best players in the world, RVN doesnt even come close to him, RVN is not only overrated hes not that good, half of his goals are luck nothing more nothing less.

Raul though, you can't knock him, he's got a huge scoring record consistently hitting the back of the net, that's not luck, it's class

As for Midfielders, Zidane has been outshone by BECKHAM every game this season for Real, David is much better

Although RVN scored the most goals in the premier league last season, second to Henry ! your forgetting who led the league in assists last season.......that's right HENRY. Not only does the man score, but he sets up for guys like Pires and Ljundberg who all have such a great understanding between them. Arsenal in full flight is definately the most entertaining team to watch along with Real Madrid.

My player of year would go to Zidane... he is far away the best player around. The notion that Beckham is better than Zidane at Madrid is ridiculous. Although he has molded well, Beckham's only telling contributions come from corners and long balls. Zidane on the other hand has rader-like vision, can shoot with both feet and beats defenders at will.

As for Arsenal last night. The same way as other teams are not quacking in their boots after Monaco put 8 past Deportivo they shouldn't be worried about Arsenal's one off. I hope they go through though - i cant stand the prospect of watching boring East European/Russian clubs.

Henry versus RVN - well Henry is the more complete player definitely but to disregard RVN as being "lucky" is absurd. RVN is class and there's no one else Id rather have the ball in the penalty area. He has proven himself through and through and his scoring records in the champions league are things Henry dreams of.

i don't agree, Zidane is so much more of a complete player...
he can do many more things with the ball than Beckham can..
