if you buy something that is "new" or "still in box" off of ebay, is it legit? for instance, im lookin for cheap mk2s that would hopefully be new. (idk, i dont like buyin stuff used unless i can look at it first hand) is user rating pretty much the only way to gauge how reliable whatever you buy will be?

alternatively - what is the cheapest site to find mk2s? ill just print out the price and take it to the nearest guitar center...

Well its alawyays best to see things first hand. However, I just bought a Pioneer DJM-500 off of ebay and it works perfectly. The user had a good rating and gave me his phone # and info right away.

Buying off ebay is safe. just read over the desription and see if the guy sellin it knows what hes talkin about. Just be sage and your all good (although I too like seeing things first hand...hmm oh well...).
