Angry trouble with superwave 8

AAAAAAAAARGH, this is frustrating.

Everytime i try to use it in fruity loops i get a weird noise before the sequence starts.

i want it to sound like this "whooooooaaaaa"
but it sounds like "bpwhoaaaaaa"

but this sound is only in the beggining, then it fades away, but imo its anoying as hell.

i will see if i can get a sample.

but for those who have the superwave vsti probably knows this problem.

i've the same problem with cubase sx

but i solve it with muted or simple 0 volume and put the faders later up, when the sound is normal..

I *think* Superwave only runs in 44.100Hz (or is it kHz ? ), so if you have a lower/higher freq. rate, that might be the source of your problems (also since I'm talking about frequenzy settings and errors, a quick tip: Synth-1 gets detuned at higher freqs. than 44.100, just a little heads up)

Then again, I'm not sure about Superwave, but I think that what I said is right...

ive had a similar problem with this synth which is unfortunate cos it can generate some nice sounds

Really? I have had no probs with the sw8 just takes up resources like an elephant if you get carried away.... I have had some weird probs sometimes, but with triangle 2 was makin something of the whoaaa sound and it sometimes doesn't sound the second time I play it (when putting it twice in the pattern) I don't think its canceling itself out (cause the meter didn't move at all after it ended)

i think it has to do with a combination of what cyrus and lowprofile said

I used to have that problem...

For example.. i have the volume at the highest at bar 3.. and then i use the event editor and make the envelope suddenly jump to 0 at bar 4 where the superwave starts playing notes...

You will still get a sound from the superwave b/c of the frequency rate...

easiest way to solve this?? make the volume decrease to 0 before bar 4...

hope that helps
