The T.A Appreciation Thread
So lately there has been a few comments pertaining to the obvious linkage between Tribe and T.A. (even Swamper mentioned it in locking THE thread)
I couldn't disagree more, when I did say it (3 weeks ago) I was referring to how effing good the board has been. So god damn funny. Because we've become so god damn close (re: Tribe 2 years ago) the inside jokes have been accentuated 10 fold.
And in terms of members on both boards, there are only a few of us. IMO only 3, Myself, Skipper and Steve. The few who are in a "board purgatory" aren't really part of the massive on both sides (at the same time).
And lately, the board (t.a) has been amazing. Good content, less flame wars (yes believe it or not) and discussion has improved. Plus these T.A invasions nights are incredible. Not to mention the amazing Toronto dj sets that have been posted in threads lately. Awesome. Alright that�s my rant.

Well, I'm fairly new to these forums, but from what I see (and the people who I've met in person) you guys rock. Good stuff!

No seriously, you can't even compare this to Tribe. You guys are great, and now that I've been a member long enough to understand at least *some* of the inside jokes, it makes it that much better.
Just went a little overboard in the S.P. thread, that's all.

Nice thread Jon.
It is definitely a very nice environment around TA these days. The flame wars are sometimes out of hand but it just shows that people care about the site. I mean if I didn't care I wouldn't get involved in arguements.
And Ari, don't worry. You work does not go unnoticed. Sometimes when it looks like things are getting out of control, things get sorted out. It would make a lot more people mad if threads were closed in the middle of arguements. I like how they are closed when the arguements are over and stupid posts begin.
nice to know my prescence on tribe is valued. I guess you don't count unless you join in 2000.

Im a member of both Tribe, and Tranceaddict. Both for about the same period of time. Ive met i bet almost 100 Tranceaddicts in the span of a little under 2 years, and i STILL have yet to meet a Triber (with the exception of those who are TA's as well). The boards on Tribe seem to lack substance with every post and almost always consist of negativity. Really the only reason i even visit that site anymore is for pictures and reviews of parties. I see a lot more "lurker" TA's starting to come forward, and i recommend those who havent yet to do so. I think the introduction of TA Invasion's is the main reason this site has risen above the rest. Not only do you get to see our communities talent, but you also get to put a face to the "nickname" of those who make this site interesting to visit every single day. Massive props to Del, John, Ari and everyone who contributes their time and energy to making this site what it has become today.
So true Jeff. My party experience has increased 10x since having been apart of this forum. Love live TA.
the only thing that i really hate about this site is that it distracts me from my homework and makes me late for work every morning ..

Everyone involved is doing a great job. I've only been here a short time, but I've felt welcome from the start. (Even if it feels like some people are speaking a different language sometimes!) I just have to start getting out and meeting some of you!

honestly i used to miss events because no one wanted to go with me, now fuck it, i wanna go see a DJ i'm there, and so is TA
