woah! this thread was totally unexpected. I didn't think i was lurking in TOTA that often, but you busted me! I don't have anything to say in western canada forum, so i don't post there. (not like im too good or anything!) but i think i am a TOTA at heart. I am still really sad i wasn't able to go to PVD or armin in TO when i was there. Anyways, maybe i will get over to toronto sometime in the future and i would love to attend a big tota meetup. Oh, and i need to find somewhere to post other then the chillout room because my post count is so low...

you fuckin explain to my family that i won't be there for thanksgiving dinner because i want to see one of the best dj's around. It was the first time i had ever had a meal with ALL of my family and probably my last since my grandparents about to check out. I don't think you should use those angry smilies at me because i tried my best to work it out. I will be a western canada TA as long as i live here, but i think i should still be able to post in the TOTA forum. J-spot, i envy you for living in calgary and toronto but please understand it isn't as easy as pie to get to another city for a show when you can't get time off work or can't afford it.

ps. I did just that, I didnt go home because Armin and PvD were here, and not there.
I lied, but they found out the real reasons, and that was fun to explain.

I wish you could come to Calgary more often, you were fun to party with (even tho I ran away to VIP area) But I do undertand taht the drive is killer(what is it 7 hours round trip?)
but a place to stay..thats no excuse, we could probly find you one if need be.(if im home)

i tried that already, i tried asking calgary TA's if they could help me find a place to stay when there was a show behind cowboys for stampede.. i know it was a busy week, but i found it hard just to get a response. I hate to say it because i dont' want it to come across the wrong way.. but both times jez and i went to the calgary TA meetups i felt rather snubbed. I tried to strike up some converstation but really felt left out! So that is another reason i don't go to the meetups. J-spot, you are the only one who has actually talked to me, and i appreciate it. So this is my story!

about the TAs, I cant really comment. I was pissed(mad) @ tiesto, and was running around VIP @ PvD but that doesnt seem like many of them
most of the guys are really shy. like a shrew in the light. Give em a chance, they are actually pretty nice.
