Dave "The Wave" Dresden
just browsing discogs when i come across this hella old mix released back in 2000 by sunshine recordings,
a U.S. label which went out've business some while ago. i was browsing the content... and i discovered
that the person who mixed the album was none other than dave dresden himself. he went by the nickname
"the wave" until he realized that it was too gay to continue using.
anyways ... i just wanted to bring that simple fact to the attention of those who actually care.
btw, the tracklisting was pretty impressive (for its day).

I also heard that Dave the wave dresden was Tongy's AR scout for FFRR and heard Josh Gabriel's Wave 3 at WMC, some yrs back and tongy played the tune the very next week. I think that was how their relationship started...tho no clue....
ah yes, memories.
"the wave" was a radio alias.
transit and trancendence were both produced before i ever met josh gabriel. i was a dj at grooveradio.com at the time.

the tracklisting for trancendence is a thousand times more

btw, sunrise recordings was the same label that signed trance [] control's 'out there' cd
until the label crashed in '02. i was sooo angry... i wanted a copy of that album for ages... and the
label just had to go out've business. i found a copy of 'out there' a little over a year ago in this
local cd store, and when i opened the case... it was missing. somebody had jacked it
moral of the story: buy cd's before label's go out've business.
