Yep, a great night! I really loved the first hour of their set, really energetic and pumping! The new Nu-NRG song was great on a loud system, so was the new mix of Symsonic! Can add to the tracklist:

Mac Zimms - L'Annonce Des Couleurs (the mystery remix) (about half way through their set)
Floyd - 4 Ever (deep dub) <--- The song i thought was minds in motion

So these are probably tracks 8 and 9. Another cheers to everyone for coming and making it a big night; Dowlz, gumble, Petek, Solace, ur all champs.

And thanks to Nat for letting me touch her arse.

yer, was a pretty bangin set... good though. and good to hear some quality trance through the heaven system... only really got to hear the first half of the set tho coz we (a group of guys) spent ages lookin for one of our friends that disappeared (a girl) and then eventually found out that she had passed out in the toilets... duh! my ears are still ringin from it tho. got my copy of substance signed as well... good stuff. pretty good but feelin kinda sketchy now tho... highlights were tears from the moon and pure thrust... choonz!! good work heaven, bring on tiesto!!!

Who's that sexy bloke in those pics, phwoaarrr

Had a top night! top set, good choons, great people,
lovin cream (pvd remix), sounded swoit on the heaven system.

Haha have to excuse my all round loudness! Lucky blank and jones couldn't hear some of my chants, but all the gurners up the front loved 'em.

Big ups to the adelaide trance massive, Jules, Cam, Heath and Matt.

Top fucking night. Trance all night at Heaven, who'd a thunk it. Even joshes poor cheesy warm up set was bareable, but only just.

I can add to the tracklist. The first track played after their intro was A Force-Spectral Spike. Which the boys actually played again after the first one. Was this a fuck-up,maybe. Didnt any of you guys notice how long that first track went for, funny shit

Another good trance addict turn out (yes i know theres only a few of us,but we are always there front and center)

I'd blame that on the home setup, not their ability. They KILLED it in canberra. Nothing even slightly off. Home doesn't allow you to cue both traks in the headphones, the dex wobble, everything is rotary, and it's not a XONE or Pioneer (thank god ) mixer. Quite a hard system to nail 1st time.

PS was dying to hear 17. Blank & Jones - The nightfly out, but they didn't play it in cbr ;(

admitley the home system would be hard, but ive heard a lot of their live sets and i was expexting bad mixing as thats what their sets are like. Not as bad as they were at home, but still far from ordinary.

The home mixer is wicked! It would take a bit of getting used to, but the quality of it is far above the XONE, those mixers cost a fortune and there are only a handful in the world!

Wobbly decks would be a pain in the arse. I suppose u gotta give credit for the home residents for being so good on that system.

Where did I diss it? I just said it was a different mixer to the standards (which you agree with).

PS rotary mixers in trance don't really make much difference

Posted by DJ SOLACE on Nov-30-2003 04:31:

Their mixing was above average. But occassionally during some of their longer mixes they tended to let it drop of(always off slow), even leaving it all the way to the end of the mix. This was not a regular occurence, just one of the few mistakes.
