Haak - Frenzy (Pete Safranyos Remix) (FINAL VERSION)

hello, trancefans!

First of all, i'm proud to present my first ever remix produced in
Fruityloops, remix of the great tune Haak - Frenzy!
I know the Original Mix and the MK-S Remix are much more sophisticated
than mine, but it's just my first remix!

Otherwise, i like it, i love the style of my remix, and please
let me know what are your thoughts about my remix!

comments, suggestions, please!

Haak - Frenzy (Pete Safranyos Remix)

Pete

Comments as I listen:

I like the first bit of the intro, wish the kick was a little more pounding though.

The off-beat bass is a little primitive sounding IMO.

I don't like how the kick and clap don't line up.

Bassline could be a lot more driving/loud.

I really like all of the sound effects you use; sounds quite cool.

The little hook melody doesn't fit with the track IMO, but neat sound to it.

Ugh, the main melody sounds REALLY flat, fix the tuning on it. Definitely off-key from the bassline.

When the beat kicks in at 3:45 it sounds really empty. It could really use something like a pad in there, and the bass could be WAY louder.

There's clipping at around 5:20 that sounds really annoying =P

Overall it's a pretty decent amateur work. The out-of-key main lead bothers me a lot, and the track could sound a whole lot fuller. That said, the effects you use are really cool sounding and with some development of your sound and production ability I can predict you making some really cool assed shit.

Keep it up!

woah, crazy fx here like those, a tad too much perhaps though to have them playing at the same time as the main riff

don't like how the clap is way off the kick, a little bit of offbeatness is cool, but that's a bit annoying.

beat and bassline could use some more punch definately. the buildup riff seems a bit out of place. the noisy lead synth sounds cool, the bassline thing playing with the lead not so good.

all in all very good for your first remix though, keep it up

Haak - Frenzy (Accordion Reinterpretation)...

I'm not sure what you did to the melody... but it sounds cheesy or something.... it's.... well, sorry, you can't touch the original, so I just think it's a mistake to try a remix. You ruin it for me. Post a link to one of your original productions so that I can give some useful feedback instead of just being an ass and telling you that I didn't like what you did to Haak's work.

I wasn't trying to be mean, I'm just pointing out that I don't think Haak - Frenzy was a good track to pick for your first remix project. I love the tune, so I'm kinda picky...
