24 hour set

So...my finals end on the 13th, so what better way to conclude my semester by a 24 hour straight live set broadcasted online?

Anyway...I don't have too great an amount of bandwidth off my cable connection, so if someone has a greater connection they'd be willing to lend then, PM me.

Also, if there're any songs anyone wants me to play then, please give some suggestion. Any genre within 125-150 or so bpm is fine.

You can also listen to me spin every saturday in the chillout room if you're ever bored of hearing whoever is being broadcast by ID&T, radio 538, etc etc

What range of tunes do you play (trance, hard trance, etc.)? I'd love to see this

Posted by Fast Turtle on Dec-01-2003 00:45:

I play house, breaks, progressive, techno, uplifting, goa/psy, hard trance, melodic techno (I guess like marco v...)

now I'll actually have time to thoroughly go through every genre too, hehe

Ok, play these:

Ruff Driverz pres. Arrola - Dreaming (Percussion Mix)
DJ Tiesto - Lethal Industry
Svenson & Gielen - Twisted (Trance Energy Theme)
Katana - Fancy Fair
Marco V - Indicator
Marco V - Simulated (V.ision Remix)

and a whole lot more hard trance stuff

Uh...not sure how to interpret that...

Amateur songs requests are welcome too, but within a certain quality range. PM with a link and I promise to give it a thorough listening.

Wowsers 24 hours? I can only manage 2

Hmmm, how about starting the marathon set with some chill-out or melodic ambient stuff!

heh, that would be cool. There's a lot of ambient I really like too. Let's see...the longest I've mixed for is maybe 8-9 hours...But I've been up several times without drugs for >24 hours, so I should be able to manage.

This is gonna be one bad ass set. So many songs!

The world record for the longest DJ live mix is 72 hours set by Martin Boss (USA) at Vinyl Frontier in Orlando. i wonder what he was on... but fark thats alot of music...

also a PM comin your way with tracks u might want to add into your set.

Being awake for 24 hours isn't the same as mixing straight for 24 hours .. being awake doesn't require you to concentrate on anything....

Good luck though

hehe...I can support a good 7 listeners at 48 kbps...I guess anyone else might be fucked, though, unless someone wants to volunteer.

Talk to E-vangelist or Tigerclaw, try and get some stream relay hookups
