ive never realy figured out avatars. how do u put these things in. i have made a really good avatar (that im sure the guys will like) and i would love to show it

but sigs with embedded stuff -- I can't figure out....

go to your profile and click the options menu, scroll down and there should be a "change avatar" button somewhere.
