Best Bassline
What songs do u think have the best bassline?... the best bassline i ever heard would have to be "DJ Arne LII meets DJ Mirko Milano - Out There (Hardtrance Mix)"..... the bassline in that is like S U P E R B
.....the tune with the best bassdrum would have to be "Cyan - Merlin" in my oppinion...how about u?
i like the bassline in the rising star mix of perpetuous dreamer - sound of goodbye and just about all push tracks. and in robert05
robert
Zombie Nation - Kernkraft 440
there's more better basslines than this but who cares.....
i cant be bothered saying the other ones... lol
The one in Jan Johnston with Flesh (Dj Tiesto remix), I love it. Especially with some chorus on it...Also the basslines of VNV Nation are pretty good (ok, I sometimes listen to industrial...)
james holden is the bassline king... just about every tune he has done would win this lil thing for me... my fave has to be in ogenki clinic - kirei or in his remix of mad dogz - better make room
nyahh!! i luvv bass... thats prolly why im into prog so much, cuz upliftin trance basslines tend to be pretty simple (not in all cases.. but most) and prog basslines tend to have more of a driving element to them
peace
I would say Dumonde - Never Look Back and Blaze - My Beat (Ambassador Mix)
mmmmmm tune.. my beat... i luvvit
as we dance to a beat that seems... ill stop now before i do it all
i would say Blaze - My Beat , but there was not a lot else to it

i like the bassline in Bizarre (Sakin & Stenzl Mix) by Taucher. The first couple minutes of the track aren't too great, but then the huge basslines kick in
its a cool track
I like Veracocha's - Carte Blanche Bassline.
Like other tracks from Ferry Corsten.

Can't remember the tune, but it was one of those that copied the gouryella bass line, but made it better, and made a good tune of it overall.
I really like the Deep Dish remix of Billie Ray Martin - Honey, the bass line there totaly kicks.
Motivation - Para Mi has some kickin bass
Sister Bliss - Sister Sister
Now there's the cracking bassline (12 inch Mix)

if you like the bassline in "Carte Blanche" you must love the bassline in "The Generator - Where Are You (Moonman Remix)"! great track...
this (497kb)is a bassline... pffft.. ferry corsten can arse

its a sample from Future Sound Collective vs Ogenki Clinic - Beautiful (Ogenki Clinic Mix)... yet another one from the king of bass
Timo Maas- Der Scheiber (orginal remix)
Amber- Sexual (Deep Dish remix)
Elastique Culture- U (Scot Project remix)
wait a minute, are we talking about basslines or tunes? anyhow here's my 2 cents.
every dj/producer/artist has a unique trademark bassline, for some it's just more indentifiable than others.
you got the ferry corsten bassline, not too tight, almost airy.
you got your cj stone bassline, deep, hard and bouncy as fu(k.
you got your atb/cosmic gate bassline, a deep, sharp tightly wounded bassline.
and of course your italian influenced basslines, stuff by the bonzai label, picotto, etc.
and as far as the U.S. stuff goes, THEY HAVE STILL YET TO PERFECT THE BASSLINE, LET'S NOT EVEN MENTION A DECENT COMPLETE TUNE.
sometimes you can tell who the artist is just by listening to the way the tune is built, from the basslines to the hi hats.
im not sure of the tracks but its from the set tiesto live energy 2000
when he drops in that track at 17.25 the two bass lines just hit god thats the best ,, tiesto really mixed an amazing set that night i think its one of the best ever live sets ...also when he drops binary finary at 55.53 .. well for my ears anyway.
as for other tracks i agree on Dumonde never look back
and these two gems
En-Motion - 'Truth (Original Mix)' (White label)
John Rees vs Helios - 'Beta Blocker (JP Trance Mix)' (Mindworx)
also one u guys might not know as is pretty old school but if u want a copy i have it on mp3
jones and stephenson "first rebirth"
thats the sample with this post
im sure starfox will agree with me there,, even though the bass may not seem as hard PVD dropped them when he was here in australia and the crowd went so mad they all wanted to know the track haha ...
