Enigma synth sound plus Eurodance/Europop

I always wondered, what does Michael Cretu, aka Enigma uses to create that sound, other than shitload of samples??

I am also curious what sort of synths do most Eurodance or Europop artists use - such as Felix Gauder (Fancy, E-rotic, Bad Boys Blue)?

Michael Cretu has one the most elaborate studios I've ever seen. From what I can tell, he uses a lot of samples. He also has a Roland umm D70 or something like that, forgot what it's called. Sorry, don't know the answer. Ask him yourself, hehe. Maybe he will answer.
