-- New Van Damme
New Van Damme
DVD Release Date: November 25, 2003

Description
Inside the most corrupt prison in Europe's Eastern Block, the warden pits prisoners against each other in fights to the death for profit. The brutality transforms the inmates into dreaded monsters. The contender is Kyle LeBlanc (Jean-Claude Van Damme, "Derailed"), who is sentenced to life for killing his wife's murderer. Facing the brutality, Kyle starts to become one of the monsters he dispises, but his savage rage may be what saves his life.
This movie has been getting very great reviews and is said to be doing very well at video rental places, hopefully it's enough hype to get Van Damme set for his big return to the american public in 'Street Fighter 2'...
Yeh i'm a massive Van Damme fan, he inspired me to learn the splits, even though i still can't do it eheh!
"In Hell" is a brilliant Van Damme movie IMO, one of his best. Solid acting, REAL fighting and great story. I still like his classic "Bloodsport" the best cause that was the first Van Damme movie i saw, BUT considering his late new movies suck (Derailed), this is a massive comeback. I rented this last week, now i'm going to go buy it.
Definetly worth buying IMO
9/10
Please. No more.
Van Damme rocks.
heh i dont think his movies are that bad
this one looks good, my type of mindless violence.
i'd say he has quite a few 'watchable' films:
kick boxer -come on, this film is alright
universal soldier - i found the first one actually was good
street fighter - just for the comedy
and all the rest..........
van damme is a great actor and is hard as nails , i loved cyborg and hard target etc etc, some of the spin kick moments are great , looking forward to seeing the movie.
" randle randle randle , you were not going to leave without saying good bye now ?? " U didn't want to hurt my feelings did you .
I rented this out back in October, and it was terrible IMO. Just seems like an extremely tedious low budget prison movie. His other prison movie, "Death Warrant" from the 90's was so much better than this.
"Hard Target" was one of my all time favourites, and I really enjoyed "Sudden Death" but since "Double Team" which was passable, the quality of his movies has gone further and further downhill.
Everything since Double Impact has been shit. Bloodsport, Kickboxer, Lionheart, Double Impact...those were the best.
I have no doubt this one sucks just as much as his other recent work. =\

i like Jean Claude....especially Bloodsport. But i still find it funny as hell that his own bodyguard knocked his ass out because he was being such an asshole.

sorry but after bloodsport and kickboxer, I just think Van Damme has sucked BIG TIME
wow, this is the first time I have ever heard of Van Damme fans. I thought nobody liked him, although I think I remember him being big overseas.
Bloodsport was cool, although I was <12yrs old when I saw it. The rest of his lficks are filled with bad acting and cheesy action. And yes I have unfortunately watched most of his movies.
guys a turd IMO.
