To Everyone that comes to the ATL

Well everyone Atlanta has gotten shited on now. All Bars and Club in the city limits of Atlanta starting Jan 1st must close at 3 a.m. and last call is at 2:30 a.m. the reason for this new time change is because idiots in Buckhead kept killing each other and now the other clubs in the city must feel the rath of what Buckhead has done to the rest of the city. This sucks and now parties at like the 1150 for instance will end at 3 a.m.

Sorry to hear about that...it's so wrong when others cause in an injustice such as this. Because of some trigger-happy morons, a clubbing society has to suffer....it's just wrong. Maybe Buckhead should be executed itself....

Shit, that sucks pretty bad... I'm planning on visiting Atlanta when I get some vacation time and a bit of money... A lot of places have last calls at 2 or so... Cleveland, I know, and Niagara Falls, CA... It's cool if they stop serving drinks and let the party continue onwards.

For some reason, I feel this law was passed just for the buckhead area. I dont think it will affect the Midtown clubs, plus Riviera and Backstreet have 24 hour liquor licenses. At least I dont see these two clubs closing at 3 am anytime soon.

...and it affects all of the city, not just Buckhead. You are right about Backstreets and the Riv, they can stay open 24 hours if they want, at least that's what I was told...

I was under the impression that this law only affects those clubs/bars that serve alcohol... so couldn't you go on into the night if the club is dry?

Still kind of a shitty trade off tho

I thought I had heard on the news last night that the new law will effect the 24 hour clubs? Devin can you maybe correct me on that if you know? yes it sucks that Midtown clubs have to take the responbility of Buckhead's Promblems and I'm a firm beliver that this isn't going to solve the problems at all. We'll see what happens, but until than this new law is BULLSHIT!

As far as i know this new law will not effect 24 hour clubs. If there was even the faintest notion that this would of effected those clubs they would of had all their attorneys present and causing a bigger stink then what already went on. There was not a single person from any of those places at any time during any of this.
