Looking for a specific sample

Hi, I'm new to the forums, so far they look pretty cool.

I'm using FL Studio, and I was looking for a specific trance sample. It's one that is present in many many trance songs, I'm sure you've all heard it. It is a deep bass hit, then the pitch bends down. It's like a very bassy kick, with the pitch bending. I've looked through many of the free sample sites, and to my surprise, I couldn't find it...

I'll look through my music for a song with it in it, and when, unless someone knows what I'm talking about.

Ok, in Avalanche by Trilobiitti is an example of what I'm talking about at the 3:00 mark.

I would help but I never seem to know any of these fukin songs.
Thing is though, from the sound of it, its seems you would kinda know how to go about making it already

Thanks for the effort, but its supposed to be a real bassy kick kinda sound...I think I'll just rip it off a track. The problem is finding one where thats the only thing playing, but I think I can do it.

I think you are looking for a pitched down tom. You will mostly find these in the beginning of breaks or something.

Basically this is just a tom sound created with a synth, where the pitch is continually lowered with a LFO.

Hope this helps...

Try these.

You can make these really easily in Soundforge. Just generate a few seconds of low-pitch sine wave. Then use the pitch bend and envelope settings until it sounds how you want. It's really just that simple. Might not sound exactly right on it's own, but throw it in your track, and maybe layer your kick over top of it (depending on what kind of kick you're using) and you're set...

if you mean that, then it's realy simple.. try what xls said and use some fx on that (phaser, flanger, ...) and it'll sound much more interesting..

Thanks everyone, bunches of help.

Mr. Mystery, those were exactly the kind of things I was looking for.

Yeah, go to my website, www.soundclick.com/djmikeyp and listen to "He Walks Tonight"... Theres a boooooom every once in awhile that I made with just that effect - the low sine wav bending down. It really shakes a good system. If thats what you meant, its easy to do.

Any chance of fixing that link? Wouldnt mind getting my dirty little fingers on those.

Yeah I'm also interested in those...

I only have 25MB of webspace so I need to delete stuff all the time. I can reupload the pack though if you want it (and if I still have it).

Edit:
It's back up, get it while you can
