im smitten, what should i do?

when i was hospitalized recently there was a woman who was an "art therapist" helping us cope with our stress thru art...she's 30ish, im 20 but im totally in love with her and all i can think of is her and our kids and our grandkids lol...i was heavily medicated and i remember making good convo with her often and even asking her out...she said there was a law that said a patient couldn't go out with his doc for upto 3 yrs. after being treated...but i remember asking her what she was gonna go home and do after she got off work and she just pouted her lower lip oh-so cutely indicating she had no idea...and then when i was talking to some of the other patients i had befriended, i remember she was sitting some distance away directly from me and staring at me the whole time...but i know that doesnt mean much and other than that i really have no info on which to go.

i love this woman!!! should i go back to the hospital and track her down?? how do i go abt this...?

Go for it, be happy, you gotta do what you gotta do

i dont think you should, as much as you want to. i think you have other things to concentrate on and you should get that straightened and worked out before you go into a relationship, or something like that. it just might be too emotional for you. i think there is a reason why that law is there.

and when it doesn't work out you'll get suicidal again..

work on yourself instead and forget about her, you'll meet someone else.

patience my friend
i went for about 10 months being single and not even close to a relationship, cause every time i'd think i found someone i wanted, i'd give myself a week or two and every time before the end of that time i'd find myself a lot less interested and glad i didn't do anything
however just a week or two ago i started talking to this girl and we have some mutual friends and through the friend i had it conveyed to her that i didn't want a relationship, just to be friends, and i knew the whole time that she liked me, but she was also hesitant for a relationship cause she recently got out of a 2 year-ish relationship.
anyways, i gave it time and we just grew closer and closer, and now though i haven't formally asked her out we're basically a couple
planning to ask her out tonight, wish me luck
and best luck to all the single guys out there
my only advice is don't rush yourself, life lasts for a while, you have time to enjoy it

bluntly put

look, you are not in the right mind to date anyone anotherway83. You have gone through too much of late and I don't think that dating anyone would help you or them. I mean sort your own troubles out then go back to dating. I mean it's not fair to whoever you are dating because you have a lot of issues to work out. I just don't think you are in full control on yourself, I mean you almost tried to end your life and less than a week later, you have fallen in love. Dude, do yourself a favor and take a step back and sort your own issues out then think about dating again. I also think that the emotions are haywire after traumatic experiences, so I don't recommend it. If you get more rejected, what will that do to your self esteem?, we all want the best for you, so take my advice.

What he said.

And what Butterfly said. It's her job to be nice to you. Plus you were on all sorts of medications at the time, 1/2 of what you were "feeling" was probably all in your head.

dude go for it. best situation ever. Either she says yes and you get an older woman (i love em too) or she says no and gets to blame it on the 3 year thing. No harsh turn downs. Fuckin do it!
