oakenfold question (oakenfold in conert?)

according to djmag's top 100 issue, they are talking about tiesto and say "in may he played a concert to 25,000 people, on his own for eight hours - a world record that's inspired oakey to try the same."

has this taken place already (by oakey that is)? if so, when and where? thanks!

No as far as i know Oakey has never done anything like this. Even if he did do it, he prolly end up gettin bored half way thru

oakey warmed up for U2 before in a full capacity stadium, does that count?

I really don't give a flying shit if you like Oakenfold or not... just answer the question! And about the U2 thing... That was not what I was reffering to, but thanks.

i think this image was inside the another world booklet

yeah but oakey wasn't the main draw for that stadium full of people. thats the miracle working with TIC - that it still sold out.

Dunno if Oakey could fill a stadium now he isn't that in the limelight...

hang on... maybe Wimbledon FC - capacity 5000

Yes I believe it's been done. And not only by Oakey, what about PvD??? As far as the U2 Pop Tour, shit they sold out Mile High Stadium while I still lived in Denver. Thats pretty amazing concidering it had an 80,000 plus capacity. Oakey was only there, but he had some pretty amazing shows around 99-00.

only djs that would be able to do them right now would be pvd and tiesto

it is amazing how a "veteran" like you still thinks post count is an issue

personally i wouldn't attend. Oakenfold has discovered a lot of great artists in his trance sets and that's what he's good at. but i go to dance, and a lot of oakie's tracks have influences of rock/hip hop.
