It's usually held in July, and in Amsterdam Arena I believe

who will be playing:

expect armin, possibly johan gielen (unless his contract with id&t is up), marco v (unless he is spinning in the BLACK edition)..

umm probably some newer faces like jon o bir

honeslty im just guessing, so i can be wayy off

expect high prices for the tickets..

that event has gone too commercial for me..sensation 2001 was badass tho.

flew over from Australia for the last one.

i just followed the crowd of ppl in white... so was easy to get to. it was at Amsterdam arena. prices where expensive but i got the tickets before i left.

was the best damn thing ive done all year.!

while we are on the subject what other events are there and where

dance valley
mystery land
nature one
innercity
trance energy
sensations
do you pay for loveparade?

am i leaving something out?

Tootles!

I'd rather save my money for Mysteryland or Dance Valley if I were you. Sensations has gone down the commercial drain, and like Trance Energy, it is now plagued with 14 year old TMF-poseurs who are there only to show off. Granted, the music is good, but there are so many better events in Holland than Sensation, both musically and atmospherewise.

(Disclaimer: I have never been to any of these events, these opinions are purely based on the vids I've seen, sets I've heard and reports from NLTA)

White is on the first Saturday in July, Black on the second

*where is the stadium its held in?

Amsterdam ArenA

*how much are the tickets?

Too much for this kind of event. Expect 45 euro or more.

*is it easy to get to?

Yes, it's very easily accessible by public transport

*is it held over a weekend?

Yep.

*any idea who'll be playing this year?

Expect Gielen, Joop, Jean, possibly Rank 1 on White (again)

*have any of you been?

I didn't. Heard enough about it to judge though, and besides, I don't go to trance-only parties unless it's something VERY special.

*wot do u think of it?

See below

*any other comments?

Nope

Cheers guys!

Please, do yourself a BIG favour and save up for Dance Valley. It'll be the 10th edition next year, and it's going to be awesome (as it was last year). Weather's usually fine, nice people, LOTS of different styles of music to choose from.. Great party.
