Lux Aeterna-Requiem Song

Just curious if any one knows if there is a remix to this song? I think it's an amazing song and I think it would just be awesome to hear a trancy remix. Anyone know of anything? Thanks a lot.

but the theme is everywhere in the soundtrack

there are several remixes and samples of the theme
paul oakenfold - zoo york
paul oakenfold - zoo york (leama & moor remix)

i think 'requiem for a dream' by leama may have been inspired, too.

Its called Lux Aeterna aswell, its on the album, got it before. But didnt know there were tracks that sampled it, must check

Are you talking about from Requiem For A Dream? Because Lux Aeterna is usually a movement in a requiem in general and is not specific to one in particular.
If you really mean from Requiem For A Dream like everyone else is assuming, check out the Paul Oakenfold - Aeternal which is on Requiem For A Dream Remixed.

it's the orchestra version that was featured in the LOTRTT trailer... only know about it because a buddy of mine was crazy about both the movie and the track and got it, and i'm a big fan of the Requiem For A Dream soundtrack.

This is different from the original Kronos Quartet version used in Requiem For A Dream?

When I saw the trailer I assumed it was the same mostly because it is not uncommon for the trailers to use the soundtracks from other (previously released) movies (American Beauty soundtrack is popular for this).

well, it's 6:34 long and it has a really nice massive orchestra breakdown which i don't remember in the requiem soundtrack

True, I have only seen the LOTR trailer once. I guess I sort of assumed they either just faded in a different peice for when the orchestra comes in or something, but you bring up a good point. I went to apple.com and watched the trailer but it not the same long one they do in the theater
