FLTA Gathering + Battle of DJs 12/19

Ok people, we talked about it for a while, then it seems the idea kinda fizzled. Don't want this to be another pipe dream like the BBQ cuz dammit, it was a good idea
So here is the deal:

We can have this at my house in Orlando (well... Oviedo, close enough), which is good because we've had several parties before and cops never showed up. I also have all the DJ gear and a big system for anyone to spin on (but hopefully someone can bring a better mixer than my POS). If anyone is interested in doing this on Fri 12/19 now that Marco V was cancelled, lets hear it. It's good because everyone, even VCC is done with exams by then, but bad cuz some people may already be elsewhere for christmas.

Anyway, all that we'd need is enough people to chip in for a keg or a lot of alchy and any DJs come and bring your vinyl. And perhaps if someone has any lighting stuff, that would be cool too.

Post if your interested, let me know how many you might bring.

heh. my biggest apologies but as of right now me thinks we might postpone until early 2004...

sorry for all the inconvenience but i believe the delay will worth the party we could do in jan. markus, heather and i have a trip planned to disney world so this could be the perfekt weekend.

whitesmoke - dang, I enjoyed your set at the marina, perhaps in the future

But my fellow o-towners and other TAs nearby we can still do this, let me know. I mentioned it to some friends and my roommate who mentioned to her friends this weekend, there was quite a bit of interest so I'd like to come through.
My preference is leaning to 12/19 now so lemme know.

The 19th would be perfect for me, cause I just got a job at a new restaurant opening up on the 21st... So if it is the 19th I'll be there, with my vinyl and money to pitch in on the keg.
