Go Leafs Go!! 8 In A Row!!

OUR TEAM IS BACK!!!!

Posted by infinity HiGH on Dec-09-2003 04:43:

WOOOO!!!
8 in a row for the Leafs, and 4 in a row for the Raptors. Good times for the 2 Toronto teams that have a fan following greater than 10 people.

I was really worried during the Wings game though...but when I got back from work and found out that they won 5-2...man, was I happy

Posted by Rocco on Dec-09-2003 04:45:

tell me about it... my brother is going crazy..
he's been a leafs fan for ages

Posted by Hami on Dec-09-2003 04:49:

I wasn't home to watch the game, first one I missed since they started winning, so I thought they would lose this one, but sure enough!

I saw the highlights and boy they we're hopping, if they keep this up, and Pat Quinn keep letting them do thier thing, we should be cup contenders this year.

Remember the Brawl with Boston last week?

Pure GOLD!!!

come April and May...all those old farts will be tired and battered from the season and your beloved Leafs will be having an early exit yet again to extend the streak to 37 years.

My HABS on the other hand....will win it all.

Posted by jdjd on Dec-09-2003 07:39:

Matt Stajan will take rookie of the year! if Vancouver's Jason King slows down a bit...

Dunno Go Leafs Go

I wonder if any leafs are trance addicts

Posted by Rocco on Dec-09-2003 16:52:

well lotta them are younger guys... sure they party in europe in the off season. they must have some type of knowledge.

good question. i'll make sure i'll ask one of them next time i run by one. it's amazing how many of them just walk down the street casually.

You said nothing Smitty.

Amount of Stanley Cups means nothing on their future chances Montreal was an amazing team, but they won't be holding the cup any time soon.

Posted by cap on Dec-09-2003 21:58:

yeah Smitty, your point means nothing. That's like saying you could pin Tyson vs. the best current boxer and assume Tyson will win because of his past accomplishments.

That is precisely what i meant....i don't think Smitty realized that....

and Leafs are a far better team this year then the Habs, Smitty my friend

I really wish Toronto had Theadore though, fuck he's gonna be a great golie in a year or two. Why does Montreal Always luck out with rookie goalies???

What!? aside from last playoff's performance of Giguere, or maybe Brodeur, Belfour has been the most valuable goalie in the league the past few years....

Odds of Toronto winning the Cup as apposed to Montreal's chances in these modern days....infinitesimal...

Nuff said...

I agree, but I want to see a young goalie in net for toronto!

stop gettin people past thier prime

.....and they just lost in OT after scoring for the tie with 11 secs left in the 3rd

Posted by infinity HiGH on Dec-10-2003 03:09:

well we knew it was gonna end sooner or later...still, it was a good streak and 1 loss doesn't mean much. They still got a point. Lets hope they pick it back up against Minnesota on thursday.

Actually it does mean something. I've seen my hockey team win the cup twice in my life. There is no Leaf fan on this board that has even seen their team reach the finals. That says a lot....and no matter how much you say the Leafs have a better team this year, bla bla bla...they still won't win it. They'll choke yet again, even though they have one of the highest payrolls in hockey.

That's something Montreal always used to win without....a high payroll.

wow...aren't you a lucky one well, hopefully those 24 or whatever Cups that the Canadiens won will help them this year. Let's keep our fingers crossed that they make the playoffs!!
