Thanks for the news

i loved his 1999 remix of justin's rock your body despite hating justin, that remix has given me appreciation to that song and justin... a little bit

aight just listened to that new dl, i still prefer his remix of justin's rock your body (ionno if it can be beat, the rockin beat, and that awesome melody that kicks in half way through, can't help but get into that song)

i noticed he used kinda the same beat for both remixes which doesn't really mean anything

well thanks to sander, appreciate the dl

whats the name of this track?
i mean full name

Posted by montana on Dec-11-2003 15:07:

after some research on discogs,
full track name: appleton - m.w.a. (sk's remix)

edit:
ok, downloaded and listened to the song and i think 5/10, it lacks something, i dunno, it sounds so different and somewhat boring in some areas,

i mean, i loved his remix of exhale & his remixes of rock your body, and other songs, this one was not as good as the others,

well, it was nice tho that sander gave us a free song,

sander is teh sex!

Why can't more artists do this?

Wouldn't it be amazing if PvD decided to put all his unreleased tracks up for download on his site?

Yeah, but if they're unreleased they're not making money on them anyway...Maybe the deal with PvD and other artists is problems with labels not wanting them to release their remixes?

I'm not sure on this, if an artist remixes a tune but the artist of the original tune rejects it, can the artist of the remix still find a way to release the remix?

yes it would. but those tracks would no longer be special and his sets wouldnt be exclusive. its all for the live experience and really thats what pvd deserves the most credit for.

on the other hand, sander is fuckin cool. gotta love him

yes, because labels have rights to tracks, and if a label sees a remix as profitable, they would be convinced to release it even if the artist doesn't think it should.

i think some times unreleased mixes have samples etc without all the necessary permission.

like i said, $$$$$$

many artists don't want remixes to be released because they're afraid the mixes will outsell the original.

Nice one Sander, U own!

Posted by Kinde on Dec-13-2003 14:21:

Yeah, you got to respect him for making these unreleased remixes available for everyone. Anyway, I thought this was a decent mix considering the vocals he had to work with... not as good as his Rock Your Body remix though. That was just so much more upbeat and you got to love those synths...
