hmmm, if it were up to me i would be looking at either the eclipse, or the civic (but thats just cause i like the more sporty-type ''euro'' lookin cars ) , but i guess it depends on what youre looking for, ie: dependability, style, performance, price....not just tha looks (time to put my money where my mouth is, heh)...thats just my 19 cents..

Well, in my opinion, Id be leaning tours the more sportier car, cause thats the way I like it .. so Id be clining to the eclipse and civic as well.. but the I like the maxima as well.. between maxima and civic, id choose maxima .. the eclipse is another car .. sporty with style .

Exclamation

I used to drive a 97 maxima, and i love it, its so cool
now i drive a 2000 jetta, and compared to the maxima its a piece of crap and civic its the competition to the jetta....so i dont think its that great

I would buy a Viper

no seriously, I would choose the Eclipse, just because of its looks actually, I don't have a clue what the maxima looks liks (they don't have that one here in Europe)

hmmm...maxima is sedan isn't it??

go maxima...more room for extra speakerz, ampz and subz

...if u want real sports car, yeah get a viper or turbo rwd

Red face real sportscar

Real Sportscar = Lamborghini (Right spelled?) Diablo
or
a regular car

The new BMW
Saw picture of them a few days ago... (not to bad )

I would get an eclipse.. i have been looking for a car for a month now. I give u mad props. Because its hard and frustrating. But with the eclipse i would get the gs spyder. In Black.

Get a Suburu-Impreza WRX better hand sportier than all those cars there. it cost ass much as the maxima too. 4 wheel drive and turbo too.

hmm ill have to check out the subaru impreza...thx for all the advice guys i really appreciate it

Read This!

Civic's are very dependable. I own a 96' civic hatchback and its never done me wrong. American cars tend to have more features and power but aren't as well put together as german or japanese cars and break down more often.

Posted by Fraggle on Jul-25-2001 04:51:

hehehe!!!

...in a very rare case, i think the states has been one of the last countries to get the impreza

yeah, it's an excellent car...leaves many others for dead and lotsa people say for the price, it's better bang for buck than a porsche

...unfortunately they're so damn common around here, and europe too i hear, that every 4th or 5th car u see on the road is a wrx...extremely boring after several years

lol wat a thread, dis guy asks 4 3 cars 2 choose from and u TA's start making comments about BMW's, Viper i saw lol

oki
it depends wat kind of car u like, 4 a family car i wud definately get a Maxima i luv dat car, very realiable and ecomonical, better dan da Camry, although bought of dem have a 3.0L engine, Maxima is more reliable, from burning fuel, Camry's tend 2 burn 12.8L while driving a city, of course i mean V6 not 4-cylinders, Maxima's burn 10.5-10.8L something near 2 dat of course Maxima is very huge, coz its a family car, so out of dos three 4 family its Maxima!
Ecplise is a sports car? if u want a sports car den ya i wud choose dis car or Subaru Impreza! very good car Subaru 2001 Acura Integra Type 2 looks interesting as well but haven't read da specification's yet
Civic is not bad, but its 2 small, (2 many ppl drive it hehe),etc. but i do like da 2001 Civic although is a very good economical car, dats wat i like about Japanese cars, not some damm american cars who make huge engines with a cheap amount of hp, but 1 thing dat i think is good about dat, is da engine lasts longer dan da Japanese engines, ahhh i said enough cud argue 4ever!
hope u made ur decision

civics have the best resale rate of all cars meaning that a lot of people buy them used. they last long, especially the ones that are from the eighties. my friends parents still drive theirs from 84 and it runs good. i would choose the civic.

Rasta

I had an eclipse and don't get me wrong it was a very good car but I would go for the Maxima. My friend just bought one and it's fully loaded and handles great. I went for a ride in a civic before it's just too small of a car for me. Go with your first instinct, go for the Maxima.
