Christina Aguilera

Somehow I've started to like xtina's music, most notably cuz of her great voice. A year ago I woulda been like hell naw, no way I'm listening to her, but after listening to (IMO) her best two songs, I became addicted. Beautiful and The Voice Within are amazing. I'm OK and that song she did for Mulan, Reflection, are pretty good too.

I know you all must be like "she's lame American commercial crap" but if you actually listened to Beautiful or The Voice Within you might be surprised, I certainly was. I agree her first album was just another commercial pop album that MTV fans devoured. I don't really like any songs on that album, but her newer sound is more respectable.

Is there anyone who agrees with me?

i think she is extremely underrated....her voice is amazing! britney is prolly a better performer, but christinas voice blows britneys out of the water.

She is very talented and doesn't get near the exposure she should for her voice alone. Besides that, if she wants to be, she can be quite attractive.

Alright...As much as I hate to admit it, I really did like Reflections from Mulan. Then again, that movie kicks ASS! And I do think she's got an awesome voice. Too bad that spectacular voice is embodied in such a rancid skank hoe. Did anyone see her "Angel/Devil" pictorial in STUFF (or Blender or whatever cheesey mainstream music magazine that was)this past month? It's actually QUITE an entertaining article. She totally bashes Britney Spears, and acts like God herself throughout the entire interview.

As for her newer sound being more respectable, I wouldn't go that far...I mean its not like SHE writes her own songs. And her new "look" is not respectable whatsoever...she looks like a whore...

Actually I'm pretty sure she wrote all of the songs on her new album.

She "co-wrote", which basically means she sat in the room with other people while they wrote it for her...probably drinking a 40oz. chillen with her song writing "homies"...maybe throwing in an idea here or there...

i really do think christina aguilera is a great pop artist .. she needs to sing more ballad songs and less pop crap stuff and her career would probably go another level .. and i think her image now is totally made over by her producers and behind-the-scene people .. she just got some bad advice from dumb adivsors .. she needs to drop them and get new people .. certain songs i love from her(which are all ballads and a couple of pop songs, but her singing voice made me forget about her cheese ) :

she definately has some soul for a white girl ... imo, her singing capabilites shine most with "Walk Away." hands down.. when i first heard the song, i fell in love, without even knowing she was the vocalist.. i definately thought it was a black singer, just by the vocals.. give it a listen!

ppl should listen to those 3 songs first and then see what they think of her, if you're still not convinced then that's ur opinion.

in the past i was pretty much like most ppl, never giving her a chance, I understand if ppl still despise her no matter what cuz that's pretty much what i did before
