Boy trance - Enamor (First Reason tune, please give some comments)
Hey, I havent posted anything for a while, but I've finally gotten the hang of Reason 2.5 and have completed my first tune with it. Please have a listen, I don't care so much about the tune itself, but I'm more rather interested in the soundquality... What do you guys think of the way I 'mastered' it?
Beofre I continue making proper good music, I wanna make sure I have everything down packed sound-wise...

Please click on the site above then click on the first tune... thanx, all help is greatly appreciated.
Sound wise it is fine, although it's a bit dry. Maybe put the kick up a bit.
Yeah, it's definitely way too dry sounding, and completely void of sub-bass.
Nice melodies though.
Ok, so needs more low end bass?
And I hear what you mean by dry... particularly the bassline I'm assuming... but what do you suggest I do? Use more effects? Reverb maybe? I'm not too fond of the effects in Reason...maybe I should use the one's I've got in Cubase?
It sounds as though you just have a highpass filter that's set too high over it. You could try adding more reverb/delay if that's not the case.
Having a simple Sin wave sub-bass underneath the current bassline would probably work quite well with it.

Anyone else?
*Bump* (one and only)
Yeah I can barely detect any decent levels of sub-bass on both my sony headphones and on my sub-woofer. The highpass filter on the top part of the bassline could probably be lowered a little to give it more richness too.
